They run on a "More Sacrifice" platform. Lo and behold, that's what we heard from both candidates in this election. People think Obama wants to continue the prosperity we take for granted. In their typically American benevolence, they cannot imagine that a politicians would want to diminish prosperity in any way.

That is why no politician ever runs on a “Less Prosperity” platform. They run on a “More Sacrifice” platform. Lo and behold, that’s what we heard from both candidates in this election.
