She wrote a good book, "Gulag," detailing the Soviet death camps. Unfortunately, she showed in that book an inability to understand that part of what gave rise to those mostly labor-death camps was the belief that the productive were actually exploiters who made their wealth off the backs of others. And the FCC is <a href="http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122895080737596191.html" rel="nofollow">still looking</a> to require free wireless Internet as a condition of an upcoming spectrum auction. Naturally, Google has already come out with a “we’re still deeply in love with net neutrality” statement. And the FCC is still looking to require free wireless Internet as a condition of an upcoming spectrum auction.
