Our mission is to combat the unreason and selflessness that are sweeping our culture from the nihilist left to the religious right, and to sound a new ideal of capitalism and individual rights in American politics.

Good post on his demagoguery and narcissism. He is the perfect product of today's pragmatism. He uses words, even entire narratives, expecting them to have the same reality creating effect he thinks they have in his own mind. For example, when he said "That is not true" he isn't concerned about what really is true. Since he believes that reality is created in the minds of everyone, he simply wants to create his reality in the minds of listeners. But reality according to what standard? His feelings. These in turn are derived from his values.

So the question becomes what would a man like this have to value, and disvalue, in order to operate the way he does. He's already proven that he places a very high value on the efficacy of initiatory force, and a very low value on freedom from initiatory force.

Obama is the archetype of narcissism. His thoughts don't have to follow reality and reason. They define reality and reason because they *are* his thoughts. If you disagree with anything he says, does, or plans to do, you are obviously the one who is out of touch. Out of touch with the greatness of his dream which he dreamed up and wove together out of hairs from unicorns' tails.

That's right. What was it our very own Dear Leader said just the other day?

"But I don't want the folks who created the mess to do a lot of talking. I want them to get out of the way so we can clean up the mess. I don't mind cleaning up after them, but don't do a lot of talking."

He may have been talking about the financial crisis, but the point is the same: it was the government that created both the financial system crisis, and the health care crisis. But we're the ones who have to shut up and get out of the way.

This post is fishy as hell. Chuck, you need to accept the words of our leader on faith, with subjecting them to reason, which is unpatriotic. Don't be critical, and don't ask for evidence. Just obey.
