Our mission is to combat the unreason and selflessness that are sweeping our culture from the nihilist left to the religious right, and to sound a new ideal of capitalism and individual rights in American politics.

I see Obama is still insisting on his original Obama care legislation instead of some watered down compromise.

I hope he holds that line all the way down. The more he keeps this up, the greater our chances of *nothing* being done.

The "watered down compromise" is the right move for Obama to make, vis-a-vis the long-term goal of socialized medicine; it would bugger up the works even more, creating an even worse mess to be blamed on private medicine, and more pain to prod Americans to give up and vote for a government plan, just to "relieve the pain".

His desire to have it all now... likely inspired by the idea of the government system as his "legacy"... just might be his undoing.

I like the line, "Well, it's all wrong now." That's a clever twist on the original line. Amusing lyrics!

"Evolves," or "devolves?"

Garden Party . . . that's a good tune, I had forgotten about that one.
