1. How to understand Rush Limbaugh.
2. Republicans give up trying to repeal Obamacare.
3.Environmentalist farmers returning to animal power. I wonder if these people are more interested in farming or impressing their fellow environmentalists.
4. George Monbiot despairs because environmentalism seems to be out of touch with reality.
5. Jay Cost argues that Obama will lose in 2012 because we are in the worst economic recovery in 50 years. Karl Rove says the electoral math does not look good for Obama in 2012.
6. Quin Hillyer makes a good argument that Willie Mays was the greatest baseball player ever.
UPDATE: Added the Willie Mays link.
I can’t imagine Obama will last much longer… kind of a shame, too, because it would be great to have him in office for the coming financial collapse he and the rest of the current government have created.
You know, so he can take the well-deserved blame, I mean.
No matter what happens the MSM and the statists will blame any crisis on the elements of freedom left in America, and demand more controls. You never, ever hear anyone in government say, “You know, maybe we just need to leave people alone.”
If prosperity had been their goal, they would eventually have tried freedom, even if just for the heck of it and after having exhausted all other options.
But they don’t. The consistency with which they stick to power and force is too great to permit that possibility.
True. I guess I was thinking of the opposition, what exists of it. But even stark, large-scale realities like that can be obfuscated if they’re determined enough. And they are.
Cool, it’s I like, to be tomorrow …
